Almonds contain fibre, magnesium, vitamin E, calcium and protein. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, that contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress while Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, the maintenance of normal bones and to a reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Additionally, Magnesium helps contribute to a normal energy-yielding metabolism.

Ways to use

  • Start your day off right by mixing some ground almonds through your porridge, your breakfast pancakes, or smoothies
  • Get creative in the kitchen and bake some almond cookies, cakes, or snack bars
  • Ground almonds can be used in savoury recipes, such as warming couscous salads or used to make almond crusted tofu nuggets (or any protein of your choice)
